Valve
Housings
Gears with the casting number 5696067 come with two valve housings offered
by the manufacturer, they come with two different cylinder port sizes. Valve
can be identified by any one of the following:
1. Measuring the port size: (valve housing with 9/16 cylinder ports will have 5687511 casting number. Valve with 11/16 cylinder ports will have 5697919 casting number.
2. Get cast number off of valve housing.
3. How many cylinders does the truck have?
4. What is the front axle rating. (12,000 lb. front axle uses 5687511 valve. 16,000 to 18,000 lb. front axle uses 5697919 valve.)

Notched semi splined: Get letters and numbers off of the end of shaft. Example: L, LL1, LL, L2.
Notched full spline: Get Diameter of sector shaft at base of housing.
